Effective Date: 9/25/2026 Welcome to Complete Canine IQ (the "App"), operated by Complete Canine (K9) Training ("Company," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. 1. The Service Complete Canine IQ connects dog owners ("Clients") with Complete Canine (K9) Training's dog trainers ("Trainers") and provides an AI-powered coaching assistant ("AI Coach") for training guidance. The app features also include session logging and progress tracking. 2. Eligibility & Accounts - You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. - You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. - Local Client Access codes are issued at our discretion to verified Complete Canine (K9) Training clients and are valid for 12 months from issuance unless stated otherwise. 3. Plans, Pricing & Billing - Current subscription plans: $0.99 Local Client / $4.99 Local Client + AI Coach/ $14.99 AI Coach / $49.99 Dedicated Trainer + AI Coach (billed monthly). - Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account settings, in the App Store, or Google Play, effective at the end of the current billing period. - Payments made through the App Store or Google Play are billed and refunded per Apple/Google policy. Payments made on our website are processed via Authorize.net. - Important Billing Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your mobile subscription. You must cancel via Apple or Google Play to stop future charges. -Promotions, Discounts & Coupons: We may occasionally offer promotional pricing, discount codes, or coupons. These offers are subject to specific terms (such as expiration dates) and cannot be combined, transferred, or redeemed for cash. If you receive an introductory or discounted rate, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard price at the end of the promotional period unless cancelled. - We may change pricing with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance. - No Refunds: Except as required by law or specific app store policies, all purchases and subscription fees are non-refundable. 4. AI Coach — Not Professional or Emergency Advice - The AI Coach provides general dog-training guidance based on Complete Canine (K9) Training's methodology and materials. It is not a direct replacement for an in-person trainer, a licensed veterinarian, a behaviorist, or emergency services. - For aggression, bite incidents, medical emergencies, or your dog's safety, contact a veterinarian or emergency service immediately — do not rely on the AI Coach. - Some sensitive topics (e.g. aggression, bites, fights) are automatically routed to a human trainer/admin for review rather than answered by AI. - By using the AI Coach, you consent to your messages being processed by our AI service provider (OpenAI) and reviewed by Complete Canine (K9) Training staff to improve service quality. 5. Acceptable Use You agree not to: * Harm any person or animal, or use the App's outputs to justify animal abuse, neglect, or illegal activities. * Harass, abuse, or threaten human trainers or customer support staff through the messaging features. * Submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing text, or use messaging to distribute spam or commercial solicitations. * Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or resell the App, its code, or its AI outputs. * Automate or abuse the AI system via bots, scripts, or excessive requests that disrupt service. * Use the App to manage severe aggression or historically dangerous animal behavior without the direct supervision of a certified, in-person professional * Upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content, including photos or videos depicting animal cruelty. * Impersonate another user, trainer, or business entity. 6. Trainer Communication Messaging with your assigned Trainer through the App is for training-related purposes. It is not a substitute for veterinary or emergency care. In an urgent situation, contact a veterinarian or emergency service directly. 7. Content & Intellectual Property All training methodology, AI prompts, knowledge-base content, and App design are the property of Complete Canine (K9) Training. Your Content: You retain ownership of the text, messages, and any files (such as photos or videos, if supported in the future) that you submit to the App. Our License: By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free perpetual license to use, host, store, and process your text and files solely to provide the services, improve our AI models, and deliver trainer support. 8. Termination We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Residual account data may be retained per our Privacy Policy. 9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability - The App and AI Coach are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. - Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that working with animals carries inherent risks of property damage and personal injury. You assume full responsibility for your animal's actions. - Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Complete Canine (K9) Training shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including pet injury, human injury, or property damage). Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. 10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of **Colorado**, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver: Any legal dispute arising from these Terms will be settled through binding, individual arbitration in the Denver, Colorado area. You waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. 11. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms at any time. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Complete Canine IQ mobile application and website (completecanine.ai, completecanineiq.com, cciq.app), how we use it, and the choices you have. 1. Information We Collect We collect information you provide directly to us, as well as data automatically generated when you use the App. Account & Profile Information: Name, email address, phone number, user role (client, trainer, or admin), and Local Client Access codes or verification status. Dog Profile Information: Your dog's name, breed, age, training history, and any uploaded profile media (such as photos or videos). Training & Usage Data: Training session logs, notes, goals, struggles you track, and communication histories/messages exchanged with your assigned human trainer. AI Coach Conversation Data: Text-based chat prompts you send to the AI Coach, the generated responses, and metadata related to conversations that are automatically flagged or escalated to a human trainer for safety reviews. Payment Information: Subscription plan types, transaction histories, and billing statuses. All payments are securely processed by third-party vendors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Authorize.net). We do not store or directly process your credit card numbers. Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers, IP address, crash logs, and basic app performance analytics. 2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected data strictly to operate, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically, your information is used: * To Provide and Personalize the App: Delivering customized training plans, generating relevant AI Coach responses, maintaining chat history, and facilitating messaging with your assigned human trainer. * To Manage Subscriptions & Access: Processing plan tiers, maintaining billing statuses, and verifying the eligibility of the 12-month Local Client Access benefit. * To Improve the AI Coach & Knowledge Base: Reviewing flagged, escalated, or unanswered conversations. Human trainers or administrators analyze these specific interactions to update and refine our proprietary dog training knowledge base. Important: Your data is used strictly for our internal service improvements; it is never shared to train third-party, publicly available AI models. * To Ensure Safety & Monitor Content: Screening chat data for high-risk behaviors (e.g., severe aggression, bites, or fights) to automatically route urgent cases to a human trainer or administrator for review. * To Communicate with You: Sending transactional emails, billing receipts, support replies, and mobile push notifications (such as training logs, messaging alerts, or appointment reminders). * To Maintain Security & Compliance: Protecting against fraud or app abuse, resolving technical crashes, and complying with applicable legal obligations. 3. How We Share Information We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your dog's data to third parties for marketing purposes. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances: * With Third-Party Service Providers: We share data with trusted vendors who perform essential technical infrastructure and operational services for the App. These include cloud hosting providers, OpenAI (for generating AI Coach responses), Resend (for sending transactional emails), and Authorize.net / Apple / Google (for payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. * With Your Assigned Trainers: Your dog's profile, training logs, and messaging history are shared directly with authorized trainers at Complete Canine (K9) Training to provide human-led coaching and support. * For Legal Compliance & Protection: We may disclose your information to legal authorities if required by a subpoena, court order, or applicable law, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, staff, or the public. * Business Transfers: If Complete Canine (K9) Training undergoes a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or asset sale, user data may be transferred to the acquiring entity as a business asset. 4. AI Coach — Special Notice Independent Guidance: The AI Coach is an artificial intelligence assistant built on third-party language models (OpenAI). It is not a licensed veterinarian, animal behaviorist, or a substitute for emergency veterinary care or professional, in-person training. Human Oversight: Conversations with the AI Coach are monitored and may be reviewed by authorized Complete Canine (K9) Training staff to improve response quality, update our proprietary training knowledge base, or intervene when the AI cannot answer. Automated Safety Routing: If your conversation triggers keywords related to severe safety issues (such as dog fights, severe aggression, or bite incidents), the chat history may be automatically flagged and shared with a human trainer or administrator for safety assessment and review. Third-Party Processors To operate the App securely and efficiently, we share specific categories of data with external service providers acting as our data processors. These third parties are contractually forbidden from using your data for any commercial purpose outside of providing services to us. Data Retention & Deletion Retention Period: We retain your account details, dog profiles, and training history for as long as your account remains active, or as necessary to provide you with the App's services. How to Request Deletion: You can delete your account and permanently remove your data at any time. This can be done directly through the Account Settings menu inside the App, or by emailing your request to support@cciq.com. Processing Time: Once requested, your personal profile data and AI chat logs will be scrubbed or anonymized within 45 days. Legal & Operational Exceptions: We may retain certain transaction data, billing histories, or message logs with human trainers for a longer period if required to fulfill legal compliance, financial auditing obligations, or legitimate business safety needs (e.g., historical records of serious bite incident consultations). 7. Your Choices & Rights You have control over your personal data and can exercise your choices at any time: * Access & Correction: You can review, update, or correct your personal profile and dog profile information directly from the My Profile section within the App. * Data Portability & Erasure: You may request a complete digital copy of your data or ask for permanent deletion of your historical records by contacting support@cciq.com. * Notification Controls: You can opt out of receiving non-essential push notifications or marketing communications at any time through your mobile device's system settings. * State-Specific Privacy Rights: If you are a resident of Colorado (per the Colorado Privacy Act - CPA), California, or another state with comprehensive privacy frameworks, you have specific legal rights regarding access, deletion, and data portability. Children's Privacy * Age Restriction: Complete Canine IQ is intended strictly for adults and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or process personal information from children under 13 years of age. * Corrective Action: If we discover that a child under 13 has inadvertently created an account or provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete that data from our servers. If you believe we have accidentally collected data from a child under 13, please alert us at support@cciq.com. 9. Data Security * Our Safeguards: We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal data, chat logs, and billing details from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. * No Absolute Security: While we work diligently to safeguard your data using industry-standard protocols, please note that no internet transmission or mobile storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security for your information. 10. Changes to This Policy Policy Updates: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, technology platforms, or legal requirements. Notification of Changes: If we make material modifications to this policy, we will notify you through a prominent in-app alert or via the email address associated with your account prior to the change taking effect. What Complete Canine IQ (AI Coach) Is Complete Canine IQ's AI Coach is an artificial intelligence chat assistant built on Complete Canine (K9) Training's own training methodology, documentation, and resources (not general internet knowledge). It's designed to give you 24/7 guidance on training goals, techniques, and common struggles. The AI Coach provides educational guidance and training concepts. It is not a direct replacement for professional, in-person dog training or behavioral intervention. What It Is NOT - Not a licensed veterinarian, behaviorist, or medical professional - Not a substitute for professional in-person training, especially for dogs presenting safety risks or severe behavioral issues. - Not an emergency service — if your dog is in danger, aggressive, injured, or you have a safety concern, contact a veterinarian or emergency service immediately - Not a guarantee of training outcomes How It Works - The AI Coach answers using Complete Canine (K9) Training's approved knowledge base and documentation. - If it can't find a suitable answer, or the topic is sensitive (e.g. aggression, bites, fights), your question is automatically flagged to a Complete Canine (K9) Training trainer or admin, who will respond and may add the answer to the knowledge base for future users. - Your conversations are processed using OpenAI's technology under Complete Canine (K9) Training's account, and may be reviewed by our staff for quality, safety, and training-methodology accuracy. Your Consent By starting a conversation with the AI Coach, you acknowledge: 1. You are chatting with an AI, not a human trainer. 2. Your messages may be stored, reviewed by Complete Canine (K9) Training staff, and processed by our AI service provider. 3. AI guidance is general in nature and does not replace professional veterinary, in-person training, or in-person behavioral evaluation for your specific dog. 4.
